Library Ship Saga Reviews

Professional Feedback on “A Ship from Earth”

I entered “A Ship From Earth” in a writing contest from Writer’s Digest magazine. Well, I didn’t win, but I did get comments from a Judge of 4th Annual Self-Published e-Book Awards:
Really gets the reader involved. The story is thoroughly thought out. I’m fascinated by the ideas of what this kind of colonial culture would be like. An interesting twist on the technology issue. I appreciate the parallels in the exploitation question with colonies throughout Earth history. A very well-developed line of thinking. This exploration of the planet is an interesting turn. This is all intriguing, and I appreciate all the ideas in the book, but it doesn’t really present a classic story arc. Still, I appreciate the smooth flow of your language. Your writing style is clear and crafted.

A Sampling of Reviews for the Tau Ceti Trilogy

The Tau Ceti Trilogy is the absorbing saga of the Pitcairn colony that began with Tau Ceti: A Ship from Earth and continued with Tau Ceti: The New Colonists and ends with Tau Ceti: The Immortality Conspiracy. If you haven’t already walked the streets of Grissom, roamed the corridors of the library ship Asimov, or met the men and women who have made Pitcairn a home far from Earth, now is the time to begin the journey.

Here’s a sample of quotes from the Amazon reviews:

Donna M Lee: “Mixing science, romance, technical terms, and family ties, I felt the book was exciting and captivating!”

John Cooley: “I had trouble putting my kindle down to do anything else, I was so engrossed in the story; I read it over a weekend.”
